Welcome to Game Builder We plan to make this the number one source for getting information about game making tools and creation technology.
Our focus is the on independent game developers, artists, and people new to game development and software creation.
If you are completely new to game creation, this tutorial will get you started.
Our forum community is broken up into many sections. Lets go over them so you know whats what and where is where.
Tools List A moderated forum where you will find links and user reviews of tools useful in game creation.
This will include programming tools, graphic tools and anything else handy in game creation. Visitors are encouraged to submit reviews and comments.
Showcase Upload forums for screen shots, graphics and finished projects. Currently uploads are limited to 1/2 a megabyte but you can link to external files. If your files are bigger be sure to look in the tools lists for some file download services
Community Zone This is where you will find the most interesting people and content. There are open discussion forums and forum specific to certain tools. So if your new or need a hand you can find some help.
This website and community is user driven -- I invite anyone who has an idea on changes to the website to feel free and write. We provided a skeleton and now its time to flesh it out.
We will be adding staff members and new features over the next month or 2.
Currently we have 4 staff members you can direct any problems and/or complaints and praise to.
Jeff - Jack of all trades master of none Adam - A graphics wiz Popcorn - Creative game developer KetchupMaster - excellent at everything
