15 Dollar competition?

Hello GameBuilder world. I've noticed that our score boards feature isn't being used much. So, how about a competition that will end first weekend of January snowman Just a mini game competition with a modest prize, and one rule: you must use our high score boards. What do you think?

Is no one here?

Eliyahu, front and center, sir.

Eh, I might be interested. 15 bucks is almost not worth it though. How bout 25?

OldManClayton's picture

I dunno about a compo, but I almost have enough motivation to make one just for the heck of it!

hmm, I might make a catch the falling things games for this, but I'd have to do it at the end of next week cause I've got finals.

Ricky's picture

Alright Eliyahu I'll make you a deal. $25 if at least 3 people enter. Otherwise $15. Would that work?

UrbanMonk's picture

I call 40 or no deal! :D

Ricky's picture

Well screw you then

UrbanMonk's picture

I don't care about the money silly!

I'll probably enter, but you'll have to wait till the end of next week like I said before.

I would like to make a game for this one, but is there any explanation somewhere on how to get a game to use GB scoreboards?

Ricky's picture

<---- over there to the left there is a button that says "my scoreboard, after you click it, there is a link to a example mfa.

Eliyahu's picture

Yes ricky, if 3 people enter that'll do ;).

I had an idea for a competition, but it's not really producing, it was more to see how was epiccer at mmf2, like a list of many tasks to do in mmf2, like "Make a chatroom", and see who can do the most in 1 week. (Each one worth different points)

I'll enter, but I would like some help for the highscores thingy. I really don't know how to code any of that :(
Could you provide us with an open source?

OldManClayton's picture

"over there to the left there is a button that says "my scoreboard, after you click it, there is a link to a example mfa."

The example is quite clear. :)

lol no one ever reads the manual.

everything is very explicitly explained, commented, and opensourced. you just have to read. its quite simple.

I was making a game for these scoreboards, but now I have incentive. Of course, I will have to persuade my parents to let me use my Multimedia Fusion 2 computer. Which means I have to get busy and finish all my projects. zzz
