Can we get a zip with all of them in it for judging purposes.
It took me a good half an hour to make that news post, can you honestly not be bothered to download them?
Less entries this year but they're all great quality. I think prizes are completely up in the air. Glad to see someone had the same (great) idea as I did for a dungeon-dive! Best of luck to all, it would be my pleasure to lose to any of these entries
Hopefully everyone challenged their coding abilities to a new personal level, I think that's really the fun of this competition.
If there's multiple judges, a zip file with all the entries would be the most productive way to distribute it.
Good luck to all the entrants too. The quality has definitely upped since last year, and I prefer quality over quantity so I enjoyed playing all of the games.
As you mentioned john, I challenged my coding capabilities and gained invaluable knowledge in the process. I hope everyone else benefited similarly.
"If there's multiple judges, a zip file with all the entries would be the most productive way to distribute it."
That's usually done anyway. But as an Admin on GB and Judge in the competition Cecil could perhaps do something for once.
I am irritated with all of the extensions required. I can barley play any of the games.
Most can be found on Neatwares website. I understand it can be a little annoying, but sometimes they're required to make interesting games with the limit on events.
Thanks Adam Much Better! What do you guys think of my game???
:0
wow, this is very exciting!
there has clearly been spent a lot of time on many of these entries
I'm just uploading compilation of all entries on my webserver. It's about 200MB download so stay tuned.
OK here you are: http://fg.netray.pl/20EVENTS2011.zip have fun with this year entries!
Can't wait for there to be an integrated extension download system in MMF3.
Favorites: EveArcade, Boundz, What If, Pixel Grotto, Dungeon Dash
I haven't played them all though!
I loved Werbad's game
Sorry Adam. I'm quite busy at the moment. It was a simple and reasonable request.
I haven't actually played any, but they all seem to be of a very high quality! Well done everyone!
Because no one else could possibly be busy...
I took the time to help myself and anyone else who needs the zip. 20Event2011Entries.
Thanks, but Fano has already uploaded them
how about someone builds them all and posts a like to that?
Or, who is up for making a video with all of the games in it? Sort of like the excellent 100 "Click" Games in 10 minutes that CTCodemonkey did:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqh4vS6OzDM
Seems like that would be a lot of fun to watch. Who has the editing chops?
I'm currently writing reviews for my website on my favorites
http://marcus.awestruckdesign.com/?p=31
Jess, I'm starting to throw together a video. Dunno if I'm the best for the job but I'm giving it a shot...
It probably will be a klikdisk exclusive
Great reviews Ricky... I think our taste in games is similar as your favs are the same as my favs for this year. Not to say any of the others are bad, just that I enjoyed those the most.
Thanks!
I would've done more reviews but I decided I'd try to make the video
Exclusives aren't that grand. So http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhma8BqKiJ4 here
Exclusives are awesome! What about that GB giveaway of money to everyone not in the top two GB point-holders?
Nice job on the video!
@Jacob
I might've made it exclusive but I dunno how fair that would be to those who entered. :/
Nice video Ricky. I noticed some framerate issues, this can be solved by using anything but Camstudio to capture video. I recommend Camtasia.
Haha how did you know
"as soon as possible" = ?
Wackyjackie, my judging is already done, 2 days ago actually. So when the other 3 are taking forever, don't blame it on me, because I've been done, and I want to know who the winner is too
I really, really enjoyed Dungeon Dash. It was insanely fun, and that would definitely be my vote. I think my second favorite is Master Forger. If it had more than just three levels, it would be a lot better, Plus, that Check level was impossible :0. On a side note, Cave Crawler 2 is pretty bad. Why do I say that? Mainly because I made that exact game in high school. Plus it's not very fun. Sorry, but it had to be said.

Darn, can't wait anymore
i should probably install mmf2 and judge these things huh?
probably
Bit of fair warning. I am a brutal judge. And so far i don't like what i see. A few gems in here though.
It's not for nought that he's known to some as... the Cecilizer...
Is Cecil the Simon Cowell of GameBuilder?
Don't be silly.
Other way around. Simon Cowell was the Cecil of American Idol.
Done with my judging. Just waiting on Adam and Fanotherpg.
Eliyahu is the Simon Cowell I thought. We can't have two!!
Yea I called being Simon Cowell before I was officially a judge. Also, you other judges are slow.
He means that literally, not mentally...
>.>
Yes. Also, Cecil has the best judge comments.
When will the results be posted?
Whenever Adam and Fanotherpg get off their butts and judge the games.
