Unfortunately several games could not place because they are not valid entries according to the rules, but they are still worth a play and a round of applause:
Here is the detailed score sheet with judges comments.
The top 4 winners will receive PMs from me over the next few days so they can choose their prize.

Congratulations to winners, thanks everyone for participating, and sorry guys for disqualification but rules are rules, simple.
ONE POINT!!
Congrats, winners!
Well done Jabs, great entry.
congratulations
Jess and I (Andy) have worked together on a number of games so we decided to create a team account... JABS (Jess Andy Bowers Sum).
We created this account because we wanted to enter a game into the competition anonymously this year.
We'd really like to thank everyone who liked our game and the feedback we received. We are really honored because all of the games this year were so good.
Thank you again for playing our game. We had a lot of fun building it - mostly late at night after university work was finished (Andy) and the kids were in bed (Jess). We also had a great time playing your games after the competition was finished.
Thank you to the judges for their hard work in organising and marking the entries. And well done to the other entrants who entered. We can all be proud that we finished making a game!

I'm pretty upset with myself because I know how to fix those events and I knew how to fix those events. Maybe if I hadn't had to work that day I would have noticed them in time...
1.5 out of 2 points for event commenting, lol. Seriously, I didn't care about it
.
Well...congratulations for everyone, even for participating
.
YES! Nice going people! Me and my 3 brothers absolutely loved Dungeon Dash! YESH
Judges, many thanks for taking your time to write well-written critiques--it is very much appreciated. Cecil, I especially respect your harsh review.
Congratulations to those who made the mark. Better luck next time to everybody else.
This was my first competition where I actually produced an entry. I really enjoyed the competitive spirit in the air. I will for sure try this one again. Does anybody know of any other competitions that are coming up?
Lambert I was even more sad seeing it, believe me. It was nice entry... But hey this compo is for fun and sharing knowledge isn't it?
It is still a useful file and game, and it was .7 points away from earning a prize, so at least it's not like "I could've won a hundred dollars if I left out that condition!" because then I'm sure you'd be mad
But there's no damage done in this instance, the top 5 remain.
Besides, if you weren't DQ'd I'd be 7th... think of it that way - You helped RickyRombo's self esteem!

Dungeon Dash is pretty awesome. I have it saved on my hard drive.
Dungeon Dash was my personal favorite. Nice job, Jabs.
Your entry even had RickyRombo and I pondering a similarly-styled RPG flash game
I have an entry ready for next year (if it goes ahead), it's the third game in the 'Eve Arcade' trilogy, which would have been included in this year's compo if I hadn't of run short on time.
This isn't over!
I thought next year was going to be a 10 event competition
Just kidding, although that would be quite interesting although limited.
I want a 10 event competition please.
There should be a 1 event competition in which you must stuff everything into an always event.
Hm I can think of a game or two that I could actually get to work like that.
A 1 event competition would almost work really well... the main problem is that collisions are harder to detect.
My 1 event game would be:
Run this event once
- Open external program 'Minesweeper.exe'
1 Always + Collisions?
@ryanachronism - that's brilliant
@OMC 1 Always + Collisions would be a pretty fun competition
One event game?

1 event + online scores.

Top was close! I hope everyone had as much fun with this as I did. Grats to Jabs for such a great job -- I liked the judge's comment about pixel grotto/dungeon dash being linked; if I had seen dungeon dash ahead of time i wouldn't have done so many things badly!
Again grats to everyone, games were great this year
I had fun playing them all!!
I just wanted to point out to the two judges that said the choice of arrow keys in my game was bad, that while yes, that was bad, you could also change them in the options menu.
Johnakerson, did you really not see Pixel Grotto before the compo? Things were so close between them! I mean it was identical gameplay and then the pink blobs animations were so similar
Apologies if I was cruel on the gameplay judging, but I tried to judge from a realistic viewpoint. Your average player isn't going to play for hours so they can find easter eggs and challenges that might justify the rest of the game. In the first few minutes if the player gets disinterested, that's a clear problem with gameplay. Also, for example, on Jon Lambert's game, most players won't mess with options, and will expect the defaults to be suitable. I generally don't check options until I've played a bit, because I don't want to be alterring things I haven't seen yet!
Good competition, everyone
Definitely looking forward to next year's competition, whether I judge it or enter it.
I made pixelgrotto, jabs made dungeon dash
but no i didn't. I was actually really worried when I saw it because his was clearly better -- and realistically I probably lost potential points because his did a lot right what mine did wrong. But I don't mean to sound bitter in the slightest -- I learned a lot and I learned from DD what I should do as a game model going forward! And I'm very happy with what I was able to accomplish on my own, and push my own technical limits.
I didn't take any criticism harshly -- you are totally right and I struggled with the "hook" for things. A lot of the issue was time, I came upon this competition a month in and I had tons of outside issues that really hurt dev time. But that's part of the fun
Anyway good work to all!
Thanks again for the kind comments! Andy and I really enjoyed making this game. All of the games this year were very good!
Wait a minute... "The top 5 winners will receive PMs[...]" changed into "The top 4 winners will receive PMs[...]".
Darn! D:
Sorry, that was a typo! We've have said there will be 4 prizes since the beginning :/
Phew! Atleast now I'm not that one guy who was one away from winning!
Now you're that one guy who was two away from winning.
Less heartbreaking. It's strange but true.
I'm glad the money went to someone of a relatively younger age where it's more valuable and more meaningful. The main achievement for me was that I made three more games in a very short time... any prize on top of that is a bonus.
I would like to thank you for the hard work you did write rascals hindi movie songs lyrics this post. I am optimistic about force movie songs lyrics the best job for the same path for the future.

If there's multiple judges, a zip file with all the entries would be the most productive way to distribute it.
