Announcing the 2011 20 Event Competition!
It's that time again for another 20 event competition! Last year it was a great success with 43 entries!
This years prizes are:
- $250 + ($5 * Number of Valid Competition Entries). That means $5 is added to the prize for every game entered! (donated by Clickteam)
- MMF2 SWF License OR $50 via PayPal OR $69 off any other Clickteam product (donated by Clickteam)
- 1 Year of Standard Web Hosting from www.atomicpages.net - quantity: 2 (donated by AtomicPages Web Hosting)
The top prize could be $465 if we get the same number of entries as last year!
The deadline for entries is March 6th at 11:59PM GMT!
There have a been a few modifications in the rules so make sure to read through them!

How does the competition deal with an entry that's ( within the official rules, yet still ) Turing-Complete ?
Turing-complete? what does that mean?
A game made in another programming language perhaps? O_o
Nah, tiring complete means something weird, that it can simulate a Turing Machine, although I don't know why that raises a question in his mind...

Well yeah but he said the program itself is Turing Complete, so he must have made a programming language.
In 20 events? That would be some entry!

So, I entered this competition two or three years ago, was the bonus points for unused events removed? I agree with it needing to be removed, but I wanted to check before working on something because it drastically changes what id be making!

A visual effect!
Takes around 15 minutes to fully create itself (I would reduce but haven't worked out how yet).
I would've submitted it to 20-event, but 1) I'm too late, 2) Doesn't really have much purpose.
That said, it only has 3 events - create new particles, create new layer, show completion text. And the last one of those I could take out.
