This is a really nifty little tool I found a while ago. This free audio editor will allow you to record audio from a microphone, apply a multitude of effects such as amplifying, changing pitch or even removing background noise, and exporting to your choice of mp3, wav or ogg!

yeah, useful alternative to Cooledit. Good for converting things to .ogg since then you can have your music embedded within the game .exe

that way no one can steal the external mp3's for your game and use them for their own ends! :P

I picked this neat little program in school, it works great (that is, until my mic stopped working)
