somewhere, some time ago, a city was attacked by an unknown enemy. while small, the city was a critical component of the surrounding nation's security, and the city's ability to survive would be indicative of that of the larger populace.

the goal of the game is to collect all 11 discs.

to earn points, you can do one of three things: run as far into the city as you can, defeat the robotic enemies that have flooded the city, or retrieve and deliver as many discs as possible.

you have three weapons at your disposal: chain blaster, missle launcher, and torch. each uses a different kind of ammunition, does a different amount of damage, and can be upgraded by destroying enemies.

the game ends when the timer runs out or when you die.

to move, hold the left or right keys. to jump, hold the up key. if you have jetpack fuel, you can continue to hold the up key as you fall to slow your descent and glide.

to do a wall jump, jump or fall towards a wall, and while pressing the left or right key (depending on what side the wall is) let go of that key and immediately press the opposite key. this will take practice to learn.

fire your weapon using the left mouse button, and switch weapons with the right mouse button. you will always fire your weapon towards the reticule, controlled by the mouse.

there are three stations set up around the city to help you survive: a health station, a fuel station, and an ammo station. The ammo station is located in the top-left corner of the largest building (where you start). the fuel station is located near the middle of the city, and the health station is located on the opposite side of the city in the top room of a large building.

when the game ends, your score will be tallied, with bonuses for distance, survival time, enemies killed, discs retrieved, and discs delivered.

Requires the keyboard object extension. Can you link to it?

Ugh, why is it that the field for extension links doesn't appear on 20 event downloads?
