Try asking in an art/spriting site like The Spriters Resource or something. Better yet, try looking up tutorials and lessons on spriting and get better for yourself like I did.

I've been trying to sprite better the whole seven years I've been doing this. I just don't have the gift. I have looked on various pixel art forums, but I figured people in the community who know me might be more inclined to work on a project (without substantial, or any, pay) that I haven't set in stone yet.
