Americans totally over do it with ice in drinks.
I always say no ice. The drinks are already cold! All the ice does is make it taste all watery and give you less of the actual drink.
I like ice, and i don't mind if it slowly waters it down. Also, i get refills usually so who cares if its less.
I like to suck on the ice cubes when I'm done drinking.

If it is warm soda like just bought from a store, I will definitely put in on ice or in a frostee mug =P but at McDonalds and places like that when giving a choice I skip the ice, as machines are already kept cold. In restaurants I go for the ice as I don't really care.
If it's cold, I always leave out the ice, I hate watery pop. If it's warm, it depends on the drink. Coke has to be cold.
Now, I do make an exception to the first rule when I have a frozen mug, ice, and refridgerated coke/pepsi on hand. It takes all three to partially freeze it.

Brits totally underdo it with ice in their drinks.
I tend to have about half to a third cup-full of ice with soda and a full cup if I'm having water.
And I like to eat the ice when I'm done drinking my beverage.
Besides, ice is funny to stick down someone's shirt. (Or their sock, I've done that to my little brother... }:) )
I always have ice in water if I can. Unless it's a water bottle. I also chew ice when the drink is gone.
Putting ice down people's shirt is the most unfunny and annoying thing that people do when they're trying to tease. All it does it miff people, and rightly so.
I agree with Oldmanclayton. Putting Ice down someone's shirt isn't very nice and it isn't very funny either.
I always have ice in soda. Then by the end, it absorbs some of the sodas flavor. Then you eat it. :Heartsmile: YAY! :Heartsmile:
Ice doesn't absorb the flavor! All it does is melt and make the soda watery! Ice isn't smart enough to absorb flavor yet!
