Escape from Chantico Temple is an action platformer that draws inspiration from a variety of sources. The goal of the game is to reach the top of each level without getting hit by any of the many pitfalls along the way. To add to the mayhem, there is a pool of lava constantly rising beneath you, so you have to keep moving! There are 9 levels in all, each one is harder than the last.
The theme obviously draws heavy inspiration from Indiana Jones and other similar movies/games based in ancient temples filled with traps. I tried to make a platformer that is not boring and slow paced, and I think I achieved that... hopefully you're up for the challenge!

Nice. The character animations look nice, and the general presentation is good. No serious bugs, but I couldn't pick up one of the red diamonds in level 4 or 5 or so. Otherwise good stuff.
