Gamebuilder Show Episode 5: Call for submissions!

Gamebuilder Show Episode 5 is in the works, and we want you to help us! That's right, this begins the Gamebuilder show Episode 5 call for submissions! Remember there are many ways you can help this project. So just to remind you what's possible, here's a list.

  • Pick one of the latest games submitted to GameBuilder since our last episode and review it.

    • OR/AND

  • Send us anything else you think would be a good addition to the show.

If your going to do a review, comment below and let people know which game you're going to review, so we don't end up with a bunch of reviews of the same game. Send your submissions to . You can send us files, if they are small enough, or just upload your video to youtube or vimeo and send us the link. I'll talk to KM about letting you guys share project updates. So have fun!

I'm trying to make the GB show more of a community project so the work isn't all shoved onto one person since we all have busy lives and lots of other stuff to work on too orange

Wait-Vertigo Electric-you're reviewing your own game? Not that there's something wrong with that, it's just that reviews main purpose is to spread your opinion about someone else's game.

BEFORE ANYBODY DOES A REVIEW ON FANGAME...

We're currently working on some pretty major things right now, and by "we" I mean... me. Me're working on them.

Anyway, if you guys can hold out until I get a new build released soon (hopefully within a few days), that would be really great.

Yeah. I second Ricky's rule... and also try to speak clearly and do not allow your voice to be drowned out by the game's audio. Though we like to hear the audio from the game, what you're saying about it is more important.

Additionally, have some enthusiasm in your voice. I don't mean this to be a KM-bashing at all, but I did notice that when KM did the review on "Little Bee", he did sound quite bored and unexcited. No matter how awesome or sucky the game itself may be, your tone of voice and verbal expression really sets an impression on the viewer :) Again, I don't mean to bash KM's effort.

Visit the Games page to see it. If anybody wants to do a review on it, I would be honored. If you do, though, please keep in mind that it is inspired by IWBTG so it is very, very similar in many ways. It's supposed to be. 8)
