How long before your Christmas Decorations go up?

Once I'm done with school. Too much to think about right now.
sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't. at the very least we'll get a tree like a week before christmas.
I celebrate Chanukah. Christmas decorations disgust me. Like I get it if people want to put up a few things, and I'm fine with it like 2 weeks in advance. What bothers me is people putting up Christmas decorations at Thanksgiving time, and those huge obnoxious lights that you can see from a mile away. There's no reason for these things to be up a whole month before Christmas. People are pathetic.
The only decoration we have up is an electric menorah, which we light with each night and take down when Chanukah is over. It's small, not annoying, and actually serves a purpose.

We decorate the entire house and have lights and usually around 3 trees. There's such a thing as christmas cheer, Eli. Perhaps being a Jew you won't have experienced it, but decorating a house is a rewarding and enjoyable experience, especially if you're an artistic person and like to have a bit of fun for one month of the year.
So yeah, call people pathetic, have fun with your electric candle stick.
I put my decorations up and intend to at least be the brightest house in the neighbourhood. I decorate the lawn, trees, cars, pretty much whatever is there. Then I leave them up till about September, when I get around to taking them down. They look so pretty in July.
I think decorating the house is fun, it's really nice to come home and see lights on all the houses. I don't like it when people start getting chrisymassy right after Halloween though, keep it in December, keep it special.
Usually goes up after Thanksgiving, but it wasn't until just yesterday this year.
I always say it would be nice to put stuff up outside, but it never happens. THIS YEAR.

yup. didnt even get a tree this year. just a small wooden 2x4 tree with like 1 string of lights on it.
It is nice when Christmas comes, because there is so nice that atmosphere. I just like this period of the year. Asigurare de sanatate
