Waist of money: http://www.hiphopwholesale.com/media/BELT44.jpg

I have the original GBA and a DS Phat. I also have an original GB but I bought it at a yard sale and it quickly ceased to function.

You are forgetting GBA SP, and GB micro.
So some Nintendo freaks will have 7 ;)

I have 2, the GBA SP and the original DS. Ah you forgot the DS lite ;) I guess those don't count as generations, but they were new products.

RickyRombo's picture

GBA SP played... GBA games. So it's the same generation ;)

Eliyahu's picture

DSi plays DS games... and the SP was far better than the GBA ;)

Ricky's picture

sp is gba

OldManClayton's picture

The only thing the SP had going for it was the backlight. It was terrible to hold and the buttons worse.

Ricky's picture

yeah but i like it better than the micro. I was mad that the micro didn't play original GB games, so I didn't buy it.

RickyRombo's picture

Don't forget - it folded! (and wasn't a stupid purple color)

OldManClayton's picture

My brother bought a micro. It was actually pretty spiffy. I play all my GBA games on the DS.

KetchupMaster's picture

lol why don't we have an option for having none of them?

Adam's picture

Only a fool would go without.

Cecil's picture

i only own an original gameboy. and btw theres 11 gameboys. :Heartsuperior:

there should be an option for none and options all the way up to 11. soon to be 12.

Ricky's picture

cecil it depends on your definition of generation of gameboy,

I'm defining it as having a different processor or clock speed than the previous gameboy.

thus gb and gb pocket are in the same generation
and gba, gba sp and gba micro are all in the same generation

dsi has twice as much ram and a higher clock speed than ds, so it's no in the same generation as other ds

OldManClayton's picture

DSi should be considered the same generation as the DS. It plays DS games. Sure, it has a few exclusive details, but saying it's a new generation is stretching it.

Cecil's picture

fine ricky. have it your way. :( lol

Adam's picture

No Cecil you are right, Ricky is wrong green

Watermelon876's picture

DSI should be DS. Otherwise, have a division with DS lite and DS normal.
GB SP was my first nintendo console BTW. I loved it.

Gameboy
Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advanced, Gameboy Advanced SP
Nintendo DS

I picked 4 generations.

SortaCore's picture

Hm, intresting that there's no 0 generations % up there, but there is a 0 generations option in the poll ;)

Ricky's picture

yeah? i knew i put a zero there, strange that it doesn't show up

Eliyahu's picture

how can you have O as a number? O is a letter....I'm not sure what you're trying to do.

KetchupMaster's picture

there...i fixed it

Eliyahu's picture

Haha oh why thank you
