A short Mario Game I made over Christmas break.
Once again, Bowser has captured the princess leaving Mario to rescue her. This time Mario must use items and obstacles in his environment to destroy enemies while trying to get to the end of each level.

I can't get past the first screen cause Mario hits the ceiling.

I see what you mean now, and it IS possible to get through the 1st spring on the first level, jump on the spring and hold down [shift], [x], and the right arrow key to reach the platform.
I have the same problem. I tried what you suggested, but it doesn't appear to solve the issue. I also discovered you were able to "stack" the amount of coins you had if you died and restarted. It would be good to fully restart the level.
Nice graphics, though. Captures the feel of Mario with those neat sound FX. Good job, even though I couldn't get past the first level.

I guess you could try reading the help file and play around with the controls until you get used to them.

I just one problem with it
when my health gets lowered, you should add a sound effect. because half the time I dont know it
hmm....I started playing and when I died the 3rd time and restarted my guy just instantly died when it restarted??
I see, in the sequel you will have infinte lives so that shouldn't happen.

I really like the game a lot. I am still at level 5 as of this post, but other than that I think it's a great combonation from all the other mario games.

Cool! I sure can't wait for the next one! This is one awesome game and I really like how it has stuff from lots of various other mario games. It'll be great to have more levels!!
