So many people have been suggesting new features, but they are all over the site in different forums topics and in the shout box etc. I'm losing track of all of them, so here is where I will keep my official list of stuff to do on the site. You can still discuss new features and stuff in other places and if I like the idea I'll add it to the list. Here's what I have so far, in no particular order:
Wow, I've got a lot of stuff to do lol
Wow, good work, Condiment
Blinking Text
NO! Blinking text has a tendency to annoy me.
However, I think Java games could be great. That would allow non-klikers who were unwilling to install Vitalize! to play games and maybe give them confidence in Vitalize!. That might help expand the site community.
A while ago I think Game_Master suggested a game forum (for forum-based games, not other games). I think we can take that in a similar direction. We could split Open Topic forum into "Open Topic Discussion" and "Open Topic Help". That way people get rewarded for helping people with things that not findable in other forum categories in "Open Topic Help", and people who just want to talk and maybe conduct silly games and polls (Which Pie is your Favorite?) can do so without the rewards in a second forum "Open Topic Discussion".
I agree. I reckon that we should have forum ranks like this:
0-50 GBP's: Rookie
51-150 GBP's: Movin' on nicely
101-200 GBP's: Gettin' there
201-300 GBP's: Wow...
301-450 GBP's: Gamer
451-600 GBP's: Big Contributer
601-750 GBP's: I like your style
751-1000 GBP's: Wow, thats a lot
1001-1999 GBP's: Game Builder
2000+ GBP's: Custom Rank
2000+ GBP's: MASSIVE SPAMMER
lol Mr_Tom
On 2000+, I put "Custom Rank" as a tag so it didn't show up. But I put it back. So for Custom Rank, you could make your own rank like:
"Awsome Person" or "Fantastico".
Here are all the ranks I came up with:
GBP Ranks
When you have a certain amount of GBP's, then you would get one of these.
0-50: Rookie
51-150: Movin' on nicely
101-200: Gettin' there
201-300: Wow...
301-450: Gamer
451-600: Big Contributer
601-750: I like your style
751-1000: Wow, thats a lot
1001-2000: Game Builder
2001-3000: Risen through the ranks
3001+: Custom Rank
Good Ranks
Helpin' Out (for helping people a lot)
Mr Project (lots of projects going on for you)
Great Gamer (for making lots of games)
Bad Ranks
If you have broken the rules, then you would have one of these as a punishment for a certain amount of days/weeks/months/years.
Expert Spammer (for spamming)
Flamin' Idiot (for flaming)
Rude Gamer (for being rude)
Bossy Body (if you are bossy)
Rule Violator (general reasons/for more than one reason)
Other
Admin (if you are an admin)
Moderator (if you are a moderator)
I don't think you should ever punish someone by giving them a bad rank.
And I personally don't like a lot of the ranks you put. Maybe you could just let the admins decide for themselves what ranks would be used and at what intervals (assuming they're added).
My ranks were just ideas.
People are already ranked in order on the Top Contributor's page. Maybe we could have a rank system like this eventually, but it's not a priority at the moment as I think there are a lot more important things. Besides, we want quality contributions, not quantity.
Yay. This list is awsome!
