This will teach you the basics on how to make your game link with an online database to allow your game to have user accounts.

I'm sorry I won't copy paste the tutorial here, instead I'll just give you the zip that includes the game template, the php, and the pdf tutorial walkthrough.

Very nice Tutorial.
Just one quick question:
How secure is this? Will people be able to get the username and password of the database from the php?
If so, is there a way to encrypt it?

It's as secure as it can be, because if it were encrypted before sending and decrypted upon retrieval, all the hacker would need is the encrypted version anyway.

It uses hashes, and doesn't even store the actual password in the database. I've asked many people how secure it is and any way to make it more secure, and they've pretty much told me that's all I could do.
