A program I made to eliminate the hassle of having to print-screen, open a program, paste, save, upload, copy link, etc. :)

Snapshot Pro Features:

  • Free
  • Optimized (Uses Very Little Memory)
  • Desktop Screenshot
  • Custom Area Screenshot
  • "Quick Snapshot" (Allows you to quickly duplicate the last taken snapshot)
  • Incremented Filenames If Ended With Numbers/Replaced If Not
  • Double-Click On Window/Spacebar To Take Custom Snapshot
  • NEW! Choice to auto upload the snapshot, and get direct link!

This is really cool, although there is already the "snipping tool" built into windows, which let's you do all this stuff.

But what would make this a lot better than the "snipping tool", is if it automatically uploaded the screenshot the web (in png or jpg format) and gave you a link. That would be so handy for showing people screenshots.

KM, is the snipping tool Windows 7 only? I have 7 and I know I have it, but I wasnt sure about Vista, and I know XP doesn't have it.

An autouploader would be awesome.

Snipping Tool is available for Vista, but Stephen's is better in many ways

I still get the timeout transfer error, and when I get that then the file can't be messed with because it's "open in another program"

Weird, after closing and reopening the problem's gone! must be a user error or some weird thing...
