As you may have noticed we've been getting a lot of spammers lately posting comments, so we're trying out some new anti-spam technology that will prevent some comments from being posted. If you have any trouble posting comments please let us know, so we can try to get the anti-spam algorithm tweaked correctly.

oh can I make a suggestion? Can there be descriptions for flash games that are on the pages the games are played? I find it weird that I need to comment to provide instructions.

jonathanq We try to delete most of it so you probably haven't seen it. There are loads of fake accounts posting huge posts that make no sense or are trying to get us to buy something on their website.
Why don't you use CAPTCHAs on comments? I mean some of them might be real people posting, but arent some bots?

We don't know whether they are bots or not. We have a captcha on the registration page, and they get past that. I think cecil even talked to one of the spammers on the chat before. So I dunno if a comment captcha would help, and it would be pretty annoying for real users to do a captcha everytime you want to post a comment.

Replace captcha with a text question such as "Whats two plus 5?" and you'll do a much better job of filtering out spam accounts.
Most captchas have been broken by AI bots.
How about a limit on the length of a comment?

Your spam filter is fail. I was posting a legitimate answer in pseudocode to an AI problem and got marked as spam.
It may slip up once in a while but it has caught loads of spam. It is worth it.
