there is a distinction between the ti-83 and ti-83+. i use the ti-83+
it was actually the first device i ever programmed for. ti-83 Basic. that led me into QuickBasic for windows. and then on to c++. and now a vast array of languages.
Oh wait I just found out I don't have a TI-84, that's the one I wanted though, oops. I have TI-IISomething, it's a standard scientific, not graphic , TI is better then Casio in my opinion.
