I pick flight of the pumpkins, it was the most enjoyable. Quite a few of the others had either too extensive and hard to remember instructions, or no instructions at all =P. I liked flight of the pumpkins but I'm not sure if it will win because it is barely happy. =P
EDIT: for the record, I voted for flight of the pumpkins, someone else voted for my game.
"hard to remember instructions, or no instructions at all"
But that's the beauty of video games, figuring out how to play them and how to make them work. The point is no one hands you victory, you have to earn it.
By the way, my instructions are clearly posted on the download page here and on TDC. (that is in case if you were refering to my game, if not carry on.)
Do you have a slower computer? It usually happens (I think) when any of the AI players reach a destination, but the sprite is further away than the pathfinding object (which confuses me because there is nothing in the code that restricts any of the hiding events, if anything in theory if the sprite hasn't caught up, it should just become invisibile where ever it is and re-appear wherever it is, but that's too much to ask for for MMF2).
My comp is older, so I run into it alot, but on my Wife's comp, it's a bit newer and I haven't run into it.
According to this popularity contest, yes, and so does every other game but Tamapumpkin. Most people on webforums only vote based on the screenshot anyways, so don't take it personally. The sad thing too is that people are going to take a look at this poll and decide which game to play based on this, and pretty much every game will be ignored other than the one in first place. It's especially difficult as well if no one knows who you are. I can see already that this community as well as TDC (which are basically made up of the same people) are more focused on MAKING games than PLAYING them, which is fine, but it kind of makes the voting and rating system for games bogus and unrealistic. You can't expect everyone to pay attention to your game when they're so focused on trying to get everyone else to play their game, so when people get in a mood to play a game, what are they going to play? What their friends tell them, the ones made by their friends and whatever is buzzworthy. This also ties into their judgement. Me and another guy can make a simliar game with similar flaws and similar awesome stuff, but if the reviewer only knows one of them, of course the guy that he knows is going to get the better review, despite both games being the same and having the same flaws and good points.
In conclusion, these communities might be excellent for making games, but horrible for showing them off. Especially when everyone is paranoid already of everyone else that they don't know.
You are right OMGGames. You can read my review of Tamapumpkin on its page. It looks decent, and by screenshot you would think its the best, but I definitely think there were far better games to play.
Well, there are a few select people I can see that try their best to play every game on either website (usually the admin), but what else specifically was I wrong about? Sorry if I made it seem like "that's how it is" but it very well may not be. I haven't been around very for very long, but this isn't the first community I've attempted to be a part of, and usually how it goes is there is a select group of people that run the show, or are the "cool kids" and anyone who goes against them is a "noob" and gets flamed. From either website I've gotten a feeling that I for some reason I have to defend myself.
Now, once again, I'm not saying that is how it is, I could very well be wrong, thats just how I see it from my perspective, I didn't mean to offend you.
OMGGames, we like to think we keep a little more friendly atmosphere here at GameBuilder than some other sites, so stick around for a while and of course let us know if you have any problems or concerns about how we could be better.
Oh I'm sure it's very friendly, I didn't mean to make you think I thought otherwise. I'm mearly stating that the community prioritizes it's game making rather than game playing, which is fine, I'm just saying that it kind of makes voting and rating redundant and uneccessary.

I picked Pumpkin Putt by RickyR. I love minigolf.

"hard to remember instructions"
Could have been my game since the instructions are two pages long.
Thanks Darke!
I really can't vote until I play some of these games
Don't worry, I'm pretty sure most people have voted without really playing any of the games.
I played all of them =/ except Pumpkin Patch because it has a disfunctional extensions so it won't load.
OMGGames, I read your instructions, and played, and I walked around for 5:17 but nothing happened. Was something supposed to happen by then?
It's a glitch
. The killer occasionally gets "stuck in limbo".
You're the first person to actually run into it so far. Restart the game and try again.
When will we get the results?
I've played like 5 times =P.
EDIT: FINALLY it got me (didnt even see it coming, got me comin down the stairs) but then i waited and no one else was caught.

Is my game really that bad?

Like mine...?
Can't wait to play some of these games!
RickyRombo, you know you can play them now, right?
That makes alot of sence OMGGames. Yay someone voted for me.
You are wrong OMGGames

I think this new scoreboard will help with that, since we will be competing against each other for the highest score.
Yes Eliyahu, I realize that. But I don't get to use my PC til Saturday
I've been on a Mac all week
I have played every game that was entered in this contest and they are well done and very enjoyable. It will be hard to pick a favorite.
It's mine. Just go with it.
