I like Apple products well enough, but I don't really care for its attitude.

Yeah thats one of the problems i have with them. Stuck up company with stuck up clients.

Hopefully iTunes will be run out of business soon. After raising their prices, it really isn't worth it anymore. I've thought that having a physical CD was worth the money, but now the CD is the same price or many times less. When people realize this, they won't bother with iTunes.
iTunes also endorses buying single songs then forgetting an artist. No wonder no modern music stays around longer than a few months! We have some songs lasting 40 years, then some that strive to make it 4 months. Having a CD is great, because I get it for 1 song sometimes, but then I listen to the others and either hate the group (unusual) or I like them even more and may buy more of their CDs.
Back to what I was saying, I'm seeing a lot of really really cheap greatest hit CDs and stuff from older bands because of the environmentally friendly casing or something? I don't care why, but CDs are incredibly cheap now, and if we're lucky, the trend will continue and iTunes will be useless.

I like buying individualizes songs, but i hate itunes. Using a proprietary music format that only apple software and products use, bad. Amazon mp3 is way better, mostly since it's mp3s with no drm or anything. I got a nice 10 dollar mp3 player that Ive used for years. Never want an ipod or anything made by that horrible company.

I think buying individual songs is silly any way you put it, but Amazon seems like the better way to go. They always have the lowest prices so I'd assume for MP3s as well they aren't trying to rip you off.
Music would be better off if people bought CDs instead of songs. Well, in my opinion. Some people may like how single songs get extremely popular then disappear off the face of the earth.

If I had to pay for a whole CD when I wanted one song, I'd buy zero music.

But if you ONLY buy single songs instead of CDs, you'd never become exposed to anything else the artist has to offer. I get CDs for 1 song then I end up getting sick of that one and becoming addicted to a different one.

You only hear music after you buy it? O_o

By the way, I do buy full albums. But I never bought CDs for one song. I never really bought CDs period, I guess.

I hear the popular songs on the radio and youtube and such. The other less known songs I never heard until after buying the CD. Sometimes they're better off unknown x) but sometimes the unknown ones are really good and I wouldn't have heard them until I bought the album.

I don't really buy for 1 song, just sometimes. Like I just bought a War CD because Low Rider is an amazing song.

Often, the music I'm buying doesn't really come with a particular album. For example, maybe a piece by someone like Hans Zimmer or John Williams. I'd go broke if I bought as much music of theirs as I wanted!

I don't hate Apple. They're just another software company. I'd rather use Windows than a Mac, but there's no reason to hate over it. That said, DRM sucks and it always bugs me how mac keyboards have all the keys in the wrongs spots. Also I enjoy a thick wallet.

I dont mind Apple, I do like some of their products. But like football its a trend that turns people into idiots, and materialistic people/already besotted fans into utter morons.

I know a james for example....
