how do i make a parralax backround effect???

Help! I've been searching on youtube but still can't figure out fow to make a parallax effect (meaning backround moves by slower than platform to make it look 3D) please help! preferably an example file :)

Use the layers. Press ctrl-K, create a new layer, then drag the objects you want onto it.

You can alter the scrolling coefficient by setting it to about 0.6.
