In the programing when you set it to pick an object at random, is that raelly random? Does it follow any sequences at all? If it is random, how does it make it random? If you have an answer to any of these questions, please post it here. :?

It is impossible to have a computer really generate a random number. It is just a crazy complex formula.

Yeah, Random isn't real. You get something that seems random by seeding to the system clock.

Before I knew about the generate random number I used every 0.001 seconds add one to counter, when = to 10, set counter to 0.

There is no such thing as perfectly random, even in reality. Everything is a complex distribution of 0s and 1s. Go Cellular Automata. :O. We can use HTML in posts? Wicked sweet, now I can format properly >_>.

From what I've read, the MMF random is not random at all and I think some people think it's totally wrong for some reason. It doesn't bother me too much, but it does seem like it's a somewhat unfair distribution of results.

"There is no such thing as perfectly random, even in reality" that can't be proven, otherwise philosophical ideas such as Determinism would rule and people would have no motivation to work hard (as everything is predetermined). Thus, society would collapse and monkeys would inherit the earth. :P

Ewwww spammer!

Anyway, is it kinda like how you can "RNG" in pokemon to make shinies appear? Cause I hear you basically abuse and manipulate the game's random number generator, by doing all sorts of things including setting your Nintendo DS' clock. And I'm pretty sure it doesn't even use a hacking device at all.
