UPDATED! - Super Mario Tribute Challenge

My goal was to finish 8 worlds of Super Mario before I joined the army. So far Ive been in the army for about a month, and one world is complete, which means I failed miserably. I dont know if this game will ever be complete, cause by the time Im home from here, its probably new updates and extensions which will improve my game enough to start all over, time will see. If it should be complete, Ill probably need another spot to host it, cause its already on 22mb. But try it out if you want, and tell me what you think! The game stops after defeating first boss, if you manage to get that far. As a bonus, you can enter some of the world 2 levels from the main menu to the left, but this world is not complete yet and you will probably find a few bugs.

You might also experience some glitches with the turtle shells. I have been working a lot to try fix them, but for some reason its a lot harder than it sounds, and its one of the reasons that Ive been slow on developement the last weeks.

lol I kinda wrote my comment in the description.

PS: Never mind the name of the file, (7).. Each time I do a major change in the events, I save it as a new file just in case.

Nice job! This seems to be well made.

I had a little trouble getting mario to jump off of the music note blocks. I sort of wish mario could jump a little bit higher also.

Try hold the jump button down while bouncing on the note block. In fact, try hold the jump button down while jumping! If you didn't already, that will increase the .. hight?.. My dictionary is not here right now.. :O

Well this graphic style is the one I have learned :) And Im horrible at making art out of just pixels. Even tho Im not telling anyone to love my style. I look at it as 6 out of 10 stars are pretty good for me, considering this is will be my 3rd game :D

From what I see from the screenshots, I like the originality of the graphics. I sometimes find that graphics look better when redone rather than remade.
