Interesting idea, but the stock graphics and the collision detection somewhat ruin the mood. Whenever I got hit and/or died, I wasn't visually in contact with anything.

A little polish and some custom graphics would do this game a lot. ;)

Gameplay – 8/20 - Simple but bugged concept!
General Professionalism – 4/10 - Unfortunately lack of Polish.
Appropriate Graphics to the Game - 2/5 - Good try but there's contrast between actives and background.
Appropriate Music and Sounds – 2/5 - Not too much.
5 POINT BONUS Event: 5/5 - All of the events are commented.
5 POINT BONUS Flash/Java: 5/5 - It compiles to both Java App and Applet.

Total 26/50 = 52% = 5*
