Renato Depaoli (MadeByNewt) has been working for years on what was formerly called "The Ion Adventures." The name has been changed to "Galaxia Chronicles" but it's still the same great game. And it's almost finished. Here's the really amazing opening sequence:

Wow, this is amazing.
Is there any chance of seeing some gameplay?
An excellent production, you can tell Newt's in the games industry by the planning and organisation that went into this

Just out of curiosity was this made in MMF, I need someone to convince me that you can use MMF to make an amazing game.
-Thanks, Variant
I would assume yes, since there's a devlog for it on TDC and I think it's made appearances in the Clickteam forums.
That's good to know, but I need to be positive of it, just in case.
-Thanks, Variant

In that thread on the project forums the author answers your very question with a "Yes"
Cool, sweet, so MMF can make some good stuff, good to know.

I remember probably 2 and a half years ago when the original gamebuilder was launched, one of the first things posted was a demo of this game. It great to see it's actually going to get finished, unlike most large projects, which just get forgotten.
Thanks for the comments guys! =) The Launch Trailer will have gameplay footage. I am working on it, but having difficulty capturing the video with decent frame rate...unfortunatly fraps does not work with desktop apps... =(
"In order for Fraps to take pictures or capture videos onto their system, users must first be using a program that uses DirectX or OpenGL as a core runtime system. Programs that run in Windows without DirectX or OpenGL are not supported, and therefore Fraps cannot capture desktop applications under Windows 2000 and XP. In Windows Vista the Aero desktop runs through DirectX and can be captured by Fraps."
Boo!!!! Its supposedly the best capture program but my game does not run in HWA, so I gotta use a software like camtasia but the quality isnt good, im still playing with it.
Do you perhaps have a friend with Vista or 7?
No...soon I will
What that Fraps statement says is that it can't capture desktop applications as in the desktop itself but that it can record windows and apps that are running with DirectX, and MMF2 has a DirectX option in the game properties so you might be able to compile it with that and record it.
"my game does not run in HWA" I'm sure there's a reason he doesn't use HWA.
Yes I did not use it. It causes many problems Id have to re-write too much and I surely dont want to do that lol
But it has more to do with the way I coded the game, than with HWA
And I tried compiling the game under DirectX, but it crashes on startup
